A fantasized look at the NHL injury news on Monday morning

Victor Decolongon

As mentioned in today's Dosage, the mighty Ryan Callahan returned to action last night after off-season shoulder surgery. He missed part of the game due to an errant Anze Kopitar stick, but overall Callahan's shoulder seemed okay. He dished out four hits in 11:16 TOI.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins also returned last night, and I guess his 28:12 TOI means he's feeling alright.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Derek Morris were banged up recently but as per @BComptonNHL "both skated this morning. Looks like they'll play."

Carl Soderberg skated before Bruins practice yesterday, but no word if or when he's actually play a game.

No surprise here, but the concussed George Parros did not travel with the Habs on their current 4-game road trip.

Max Pacioretty skated without contact yesterday and will be travelling with the Habs.

Jason Spezza skipped yesterday's practice with groin issues. No word on whether he's expected to play tomorrow vs. LA.

Filip Forsberg will make his season debut for the Predators tonight.

Zach Parise left yesterday's morning skate with an illness, so he may or may not go tonight.
