A fantasized look at the NHL injury news on Sunday morning

Bruce Bennett

Viktor Fasth had a full practice yesterday and looks ready to go.

Saku Koivu had a setback and continues to miss time with a concussion.

James Neal played for the first time since opening night. He had an assist was and looking good with Malkin.

Beau Bennett also returned to action.

Paul Martin (undisclosed) did not play.

David Perron scored a goal in his return to the Oilers lineup.

Danny Briere participated in a full practice and should be back soon.

Derek Morris was a game-time decision and he did end up sitting out. Radim Vrbata also didn't play but it sounds like neither guy should be out long.

Cal Clutterbuck missed his second straight game.

Nazem Kadri was checked out for concussion symptoms after a hit by Johnny Boychuk. Sounds like Kadri is fine though, and will play Wednesday.

Taylor Pyatt is out indefinitely with a concussion.

Kyle Clifford left yesterday's game. As per Daryl Sutter, Clifford "got his bell rung".

From the Predators, Matt Handricks and Mike Fisher are uncertain for today's game.

Thomas Vanek is out today with a UBI after playing only one shift yesterday.

Rick Nash had been symptom-free for a few days  so he might be back soon from his concussion.
