Fantasy Hockey Injury News for Wednesday

A quick look at NHL injury news on Wednesday morning

Word came out today that Jonathan Quick is expected to miss at least another month, with an expected return around Christmas. Were you "quick" enough to snag Scrivens when you had the chance?

Danny DeKeyser suffered a separated shoulder last night and will miss the next 3-6 weeks as a result. Too bad for someone who was really starting to shine on the backend for the Wings.

Patrik Berglund has already been ruled out for tomorrow's game after missing the last 2 games with an UBI

Stephen Weiss is also ruled out for tomorrow's game but is expected back this weekend

Brandon Dubinsky will not play tonight but should be back for Friday's game. He left last night's game with a bruised foot.

Marian Hossa missed his third straight game last night and is still considered day to day. Looks like you will need to check in on gameday for his updated status.

Mike Green will not play tonight (LBI) and is now targeting Friday for a return.

Daniel Alfredsson (groin) skated on his own today but has already been ruled out for tomorrow's game. That will be the fourth game in a row he has missed

Jeff Skinner practiced today but no word if he will suit up tomorrow. Check back tomorrow for his status and be ready to insert him into your lineup.

Brent Burns might make his return to the lineup tomorrow but the decision is not likely to come until then.

Ray Whitney is a game time decision tomorrow after missing the last 3 games with an UBI.

The latest on Nathan Horton is that he isn't close to returning with still no timetable for a return. Apparently his recovery from shoulder surgery is going slower then expected and it wouldn't surprise me to not see him back until January.

Saku Koivu has been ruled out for tonight's game

For those of you that have Evgeny Kuznetsov on your farm, it was thought he reinjured the same shoulder yesterday that has been operated on twice already. The Traktor GM Vladimir Krechin has since denied those rumours saying he actually injured his trapezius muscle. He then went on to say it is almost healed already and that he didn't expect Kuznetsov would miss a single game. Phew!
