A quick look at NHL injury news for Wednesday

Josh Harding skated in the morning practice and will serve as backup tonight. He should be ready to go in one of the B2B games this weekend.

Paul Martin was placed on IR and will miss the next 4-6 weeks with a fractured tibia.

Ben Bishop took a shot off his blocker hand but was quoted after practice saying he is fine. Anders Lindback was getting the start tonight regardless but keep an eye on any further news regarding Bishop just incase.

Zach Parise (foot) was an unexpected participant this morning for the Wild but the coach has ruled him out for tonight's action. It sounds like he might be back sooner then expected though so worth keeping an eye on.

Pavel Datsyuk (Head) has been ruled out of tonight's game and Friday's game already.

Brandon Dubinsky has still not fully practiced with the team as he is still nursing his foot injury. He has been ruled out for tonight's game.

Matt Duchene will be a game time decision tonight but is more likely to return Friday

Radko Gudas suffering from an UBI after dancing with Luca Sbisa is considered day to day.

Tanner Glass is going to miss the next 3-4 weeks with a broken hand after blocking a shot this past Saturday

Joffrey Lupul (surprise) is suffering from a groin injury and is expected to miss up to two weeks. This allows Mason Raymond to move up to the second line in his absence.

Ryan Reaves and his broken hand will be out up to six weeks. According to coach Hitchcock, Adam Cracknell and Magnus Paajarvi are expected to see increased ice time as a result

Todd Bertuzzi is about to miss his third straight game with an apparent UBI. Not much details about his injury are known.

Ryan Malone was placed on Injured Reserve today with his foot injury. This move was made to free up a roster spot for the Lightning. The news from Cooper today made it sound like his recovery might take longer then expected and a chipped bone has been mentioned but not confirmed.

Bryan Allen is considered day to day after suffering a LBI on Saturday. He did not play last night.

Matt Frattin is not travelling with the team but is targeting Saturday for a return after suffering a LBI

Patric Hornqvist status is in doubt for tomorrow's game (LBI) and has already missed one game with the ailment

Mikael Granlund will be a game time decision tonight for the Wild. Be sure to check prior to the game to see if he is a go or not.
