NHL starting goalies for Friday: Jonathan Bernier, Ray Emery and Cory Schneider get the nod

There are eight games on tap in the NHL on Friday night, with Ilya Bryzgalov, Martin Brodeur, Ray Emery, Cory Schneider and Jonathan Bernier all already confirmed as starters.

There are eight games scheduled for Friday, with the nationally televised contest between the Chicago Blackhawks and San Jose Sharks headlining the night.

In addition, the New Jersey Devils will be hosting the Philadelphia Flyers in an Atlantic Division meeting, while the Buffalo Sabres will challenge the Boston Bruins in a Northeast Division meeting.

The schedule is heavy in Western Conference games, as five such games will take place on the night.
