A fantasized look at some NHL injury news on a Tuesday morning.

Maybe I'll play tonight. What do you think, God?

Dan Girardi was back on the ice for practice yesterday and he seems to be fine to play tonight in all likelihood.

Ryan McDonagh (head injury of some form), on the other hand, seems unlikely to play tonight.

Brent Burns will reportedly miss at least the next two games for the Sharks. Knowing him, these two games will turn into 22. Owning this guy is maddening.

The decision was to give Ryane Clowe only two games for leaving the bench on Friday night. He's already sat out one game so he'll be out again tonight, but will be good to go for Thursday.

Nicklas Backstrom has some kind of illness and wasn't able to practice yesterday. He'll be a game time decision tonight.

Mike Green is listed as "probable" for tonight's game, so that basically means he won't play, right?

It took only one game but Antti Miettinen is right back on the shelf. He'll sit out tonight after being hit with a puck on Sunday.

Cal Clutterbuck is officially out for tonight's game against the Senators.

Must have been a bad flu that has got Rene Bourque down as he missed his second straight game because of it.
