A fantasized look at some hockey news on a Saturday morning.

Just the one game last night between the Ducks and the Stars but let's dive right in.

Jamie Benn continued his hot streak as he had a goal on 5 shots. He now has goals in three straight games and is 4+2=6 and plus-4 over that span.

Making 20 saves on 21 shots for the win was Kari Lehtonen last night and he's now won four straight games. He owns an impressive 6-2-1 record with a .928 sv% and 2.30 gaa.

Loui Eriksson scored a goal and chipped in an assist. It was his first multipoint effort since the opener. In between these two games he went 10 games with only 3 points so maybe this gets him kickstarted.

Two assists, two shots, and three hits for Alex Goligoski as he broke a four game scoreless streak.

Derek Roy stayed on the scoresheet with two assists. He has 1+4=5 with 2 PPP over his last four games.

An assist and 7 PIM is nothing to write home about but we'll take it from Corey Perry. He still needs to shoot more as he had just two shots last night.

Viktor Fasth had to relieve an injured Jonas Hiller at the start of the second period. He allowed just one goal on 12 shots for the remaining two periods as Hiller got the loss. If the door wasn't open for him to steal the starting job before this injury, it's wide open now.

The Kings used that 5th round pick they got from the Devils on Thursday to trade to the Panthers for Keaton Ellerby.
