Fantasy Hockey Injury News for Tuesday

A fantasized look at the injury news on Tuesday morning

USA TODAY Sports

The Flyers clarified that Danny Briere's UBI is actually a concussion. And as is the Flyers way, instead of listing him as out indefinitely, since I doubt they have any idea when he is going to return, they listed him as day-to-day.

Missed this yesterday... Nicklas Grossmann didn't play Sunday due to a UBI, he's listed as day-to-day. This shouldn't be a big deal to most of you but Grossmann is top 5 in the league in blocks, if you're in one of those leagues.

The Avs say Paul Stastny is out 10 days due to his bruised foot.

Goalie update time: Mike Smith (UBI) hasn't touched the ice since he threw up a human roadblock on Edler last Thursday and Craig Anderson (ankle) practiced yesterday for the first time in over a month. Total guess but I'd say Anderson returns in about a week.

Joe Corvo (LBI) & Andrej Sekera (UBI) are both slated to return tonight.

Ryane Clowe (shoulder) was close to returning last night but didn't... so we should expect him back soon.

Returning to action from the injured list last night: Patric Hornqvist & Ryan Nugent-Hopkins
