Fantasy Hockey Injury News for Thursday

A fantasized look at some NHL injury news on a Thursday morning.

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sport

The Penguins placed Kris Letang back on the IR, this time with a broken toe. The initial estimate is that he'll be out 7-10 days.

Marc-Andre Fleury (neck) won't start tonight but it sounds like he'll dress as the backup so looks like his owners dodged the bullet here.

Thomas Vanek is still very sore from the muscle strain he suffered and he's questionable to play tonight.

James Wisniewski (foot) is a game time decision for tonight but I'd bet that he plays.

David Jones sat out last night's game with a knee injury. He's listed as day-to-day.

Andrej Meszaros apparently re-injured his shoulder and his season looks to be done.

Lauri Korpikoski missed last night's game with a UBI. He's listed as day-to-day.

Nick Foligno took a big hit on Tuesday night and is reportedly still feeling extremely sore. He may miss tonight's contest.

Johnny Boychuk sat out last night's game with a foot injury and he's another one listed as day-to-day.

Chad LaRose has the flu and won't play tonight.
