Fantasy Hockey Injury News for Saturday

A fantasized look at some NHL injury news on a Saturday morning.

Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Spor

Tyler Myers has a broken bone in his leg that he suffered during Thursday night's contest. He's been officially shut down for the remainder of the season.

Alex Tanguay suffered an apparent knee injury last night and was forced to leave the game. He's day-to-day until we get any further info.

Erik Johnson is dealing with a wrist injury that will likely keep him out of the lineup tonight.

Mikhail Grabovski is dealing with a stomach issue that had him questionable to play tonight, but he's at practice this morning so it appears he's good to go.

Joffrey Lupul (concussion) is practicing but sporting a non-contact jersey and there's still no timetable for his return.

Kari Lehtonen (groin) missed last night's Stars game and he's questionable for tonight's tilt.

Henrik Zetterberg (groin) was a game time decision and he ultimately played...and played a lot; almost 23 minutes. I'd imagine he keeps playing hurt for the rest of the season.

Danny Briere (concussion) has been cleared to play and should be in the lineup today against the Sabres.

Martin Erat (leg) practiced again yesterday and he may be able to play tonight. He'll be a game time decision.

Returning to action from the injured: Brandon Dubinsky, Jiri Hudler, Jared Boll, Milan Michalek
