Rich Lam

The Penguins finally gave us some news on James Neal. He has a concussion and will miss at least the next 3 games. That's just grand.

Semyon Varlamov was a late scratch for last night's game with a hip injury. Not a lot of particulars out there so wait on some official word.

Ryan Johansen is suffering from an undisclosed injury that might cause him to miss tonight's game. Todd Richards only revealed that Johansen was "banged up."

Patrick Sharp is traveling with the team to Minnesota so the possibility exists that he will suit up for tonight's tilt.

Youngster Brayden McNabb suffered a knee injury and is reportedly done for the year. He was having a real good season at the AHL level so here's hoping he'll be fully healthy in time for training camp.

Jiri Hudler is dealing with a UBI that kept him out of the Flames lineup last night. Consider him day-to-day for now until there is more info available.

Alexei Emelin is expected to miss the remainder of the season with a torn ligament in his knee. Big loss for the Canadiens.

A foot injury kept Ales Hemsky out of the Oilers lineup last night. He's listed as day-to-day for now.

Max Pacioretty has a LBI that cut his practice short yesterday. He might miss tonight's game so keep an eye on that.

Rene Bourque (concussion) is expected to play tonight for the first time in over 7 weeks.

Ryan Kesler surprised a few people when he returned to the Canucks lineup yesterday. He scored the GWG to show you that he's totally fine.
