Fantasy Hockey Injury News for Friday

A fantasized look at some NHL injury news on a Friday morning.

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Pavel Datsyuk didn't play again last night but he is making progress. Maybe this weekend?

Johan Franzen (concussion) revealed that he is not experiencing any headaches and did not rule out the possibility of playing this weekend. Concussions are tricky, as we all know, so don't get your hopes up just yet.

Ben Bishop is out on the ice as I write this testing out his wrist. No word on his status as of yet.

Both Blake Wheeler and Andrew Ladd missed practice with illnesses yesterday. They don't play until tomorrow so there's a good chance that they will dress.

Not that this matters unless you're trying to stock up on your PIM totals, but Zac Rinaldo sustained a high ankle sprain on Wednesday night.
