Dustin Penner - Sometimes productive, sometimes a waiver wire mainstay, Penner had enjoyed some success with the 'dynamic duo of Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf but has fallen off the top line for quite sometime. Perhaps it was due to another injury, as he has been sidelined with an upper body ailment, and it is unclear if he will play tonight against Phoenix. He is officially listed as questionable for the game.

Tyler Myers - There has been no clear update, but Myers is sidelined with an undisclosed injury. If for any reason your team is good enough to ride the under-performing Buffalo Sabres' defenseman, this news does not help. In any case, you should have found supplementary help a long time ago.

Eric Staal - Injured with a lower body problem, Staal was listed to miss just one week. This update was issued on the 5th of January, which means the eldest Staal should be ready to go in the next few days. Make sure you have him ready to go.

Ryan O'Reilly - The gritty two-way forward has been sidelined with a bruised shoulder. He is listed as questionable for tonight's game against the Minnesota Wild. Hopefully this is it not a long term issue, has O'Reilly has enjoyed a productive season, with 14 goals, 14 assists and 112 shots in 42 games. Even more impressively, O'Reilly has not taken a single penalty so far this season. From a fantasy perspective, this may not be a good thing, but in real life, this is truly an amazing feat given the minutes he plays.

Dmitry Kulikov - A player who should be more fantasy relevant at this point of his career, Kulikov has been sidelined with another injury, this time a facial laceration. He may not be relevant to be on this list, but he should be, and is on here for all the wrong reasons. He has the potential to be a very dynamic player, especially in terms of fantasy, but has not shown that ability. Was he rushed? Seems like it. His status remains questionable for tonight's game.

Patric Hornqvist - A solid producer for the Nashville Predators, Hornqvist has been sidelined with a lower body injury and is questionable for tonight's game against the Ottawa Senators. If you own the heavy-shooting winger, chances are you will need to bench him for the night.

Matt Irwin - A player who has enjoyed a breakout season, Irwin has already tied his rookie season total of 12 points from last year. He has shown good all-around ability from a fantasy perspective and plays some pretty heavy minutes for the San Jose Sharks. He is currently sidelined with an upper body injury and is questionable for tonight's game.

Evander Kane - Probably the most fantasy-important player on this list, Kane has been sidelined again with a hand injury. After returning just recently, owners must be getting quite annoyed with the gritty forward, I know I am. However, it's still nice to look at 14 goals, 11 assists, 3 GWG, 46 PIM, 165 shots and 107 hits in just 38 games. No wonder he gets injured so much.

Enjoy the Saturday games folks!
