Fantasy Hockey Injury News for Tuesday

A quick look at NHL injury news on Tuesday morning

Harry How

Winnipeg Jets' Evander Kane (hand) did not play Monday night. Defensemen Paul Postma (lower body) and Grant Clitsome (illness) also sat out.

Alexander Edler returned to action last night after missing five weeks with a knee injury. He played a solid 21:55.

Roberto Luongo again did not play; Eddie Lack got the start. Luongo hasn't played since January 4, when he suffered a "totally different injury on a different type of play" from the one he suffered December 22. Okay then.

Eric Staal returned to action for the Carolina Hurricanes, as did Jiri Tlusty. Both were held pointless.

Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Ben Bishop (wrist) was healthy enough to back up Anders Lindback. I'd look for him to start the next game.

Sami Salo (lower body - assume entire lower body from navel to toes) was scratched and is day-to-day (but assume done for season). Oh, Sami Salo, you've been good lately and probably deserve better than to be mocked like this.

Tyson Barrie (shoulder) missed Saturday's Colorado Avalanche game but is expected to play Tuesday.

Dougie Hamilton (undisclosed) left during Saturday's Boston Bruins game and missed practice Monday, so he might not play Tuesday.
