Fantasy Hockey Injury News for Thursday

A quick look at NHL injury news on Thursday morning

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Zach Parise skated with the team yesterday in practice while wearing the no contract jersey.  It's a step.  If you're like me and own him in every damn league you're in this year you really want him to get healthy quick.  There is no timetable for his return.

Colton Orr returned from the flu.  We're surprised somebody as tough as Colton was out with a tummy ache.  He played six shifts and 3:03 of TOI.  Great use of a roster spot right there.

Scott Hartnell was injured on Tuesday night.  He blocked a shot with the wrong part of his ankle and the Flyers are saying he's day-to-day.  Shame dude has been on fire lately.

Wondering where Jonas Hiller was last night?  He was just out with the flu and should be back very soon.  Nothing to worry about.

Erik Johnson has a good chance at returning for tonight's game.  He'll make the final decision after the morning skate.

P.A. Parenteau is apparently doing good things in his recovery from his sprained MCL.  He's hoping to be back three weeks earlier than expected.  Which means we might be seeing him around the end of January.  Good news for PAP owners.

Drew Stafford returned from injury last night.  He played over 19 minutes and didn't record a point.  He missed five games but you probably didn't even notice.

Matt D`Agostini left in the 1st with a UBI.  He did not return.  No other details were given.
