A fantasized look at Sundays games

Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

Sundays Highlights
Rangers 3 - Red Wings 0
Henrik Lundqvist looked back in form with a shutout of the Red Wings. Chris Kreider led the blueshirts with 2 goals. David Legwand, Johan Franzen, and Gustav Nyquist were shutdown after their dominating game versus the Devils on Friday. Derek Stepan had two assists in the win.

Bruins 5 - Panthers 2
What was a close game was broken open 7 minutes into the third. Patrice Bergeron led the Bruins with a goal and two assists while newcomer Andrej Meszaros scored his first goal on the Bruins while racking up 20:36 of ice time. Roberto Luongo took the loss for Florida, allowing 4 goals on 41 shots.

Blackhawks 2 - Sabres 1
Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews scored for Chicago in a surprisingly close match. Drew Stafford had the lone goal for Buffalo, finishing off a shot attempt from newly claimed cory Conacher. Corey Crawford for the win and Jhonas Enroth took the loss, but looked sharp in a 29 save effort.

Blues 3 - Wild 2
The Blues won in a shootout with a goal from Mr Shootout himself, T.J. Oshie. Oshie also scored during regulation along with Carlo Colaiacovo. The Wild had goals from ex-Sabres Jason Pominville and Matt Moulson. This was Ilya Bryzgalov's first game with the Wild. While he took the loss he looked better than Darcy Kuemper in his last start.

Kings 4 - Oilers 2
Jeff Carter scored two goals and an assist in the win over Edmonton. Ben Scrivens took the loss in an amazing 46 save effort. Taylor Hall and Sam Gagner had the goals for the Oilers. Marian Gaborik remains scoreless with his new team.

This Week's Tips
Jhop's IR hack with Yahoo continues to work. The lineup was set in advance to continually swap Stamkos and Franzen back and forth on an IR slot back when they flagged IR. Yahoo has since marked them as active, but because the lineup was set in advance, they are allowed to go back on IR. This will break as soon as a player is added, but allows an extra bench slot for now.
